Yesterday was the last workday before Christmas.

Over the past weeks, more patches have been cleared and manured and straw strewn over paths to avoid slipping on mud.

Crop yields have included carrots, brussels sprouts (green and red), swedes, leeks, celeriac and cabbages.

Working on the land can take it’s toll on footwear; here’s hoping Santa may provide…
