Mid July at DCF

Examples of two harvest “take home” boxes, a week apart.

Onions and garlic have been harvested and are drying under cover.

New veg are being planted, while the sweetcorn is progressing, spring onions have grown well – but it’s a real race with the weeds.

News – we’ve had some rain.

  1. Good to see such a productive season. Anja and I will be in Norwich on the morning of Thursday 21 August. Will it be OK if we stop by to see you all in time for COFFEE, around 10.30/11.00? Paul

    • Hi Paul. Of course folk will welcome a visit from you both, those who remember you and our new members. Unfortunately Chris and I will probably miss you but if your email address is the same, it would be great for a catchup.
Since covid, the coffee/baking break now consists of us bringing our own drink and food. (Just to warn you 🙁)
Still a good group of gardeners.

      • Hi Sine, Yes the email is probably the same, assuming you have paulcoster07@gmail.com and not one of my old plusnet addresses. It is a pity that we will probably miss you and Chris but possibly there will some we still see cropping up on your regular photos, like Jeff and Frances? Are there others we might recognise from 2018?Note what you say about bringing food and drink, even if the coffee will not match the quality of Gary’s. We hope Canada has treated them all wellGood luck with keeping the group together in these changeable timesPaul & Anja
